Beyond Past Lives: The Power Is Always in the Present Moment

Human consciousness is evolving—and at an increasingly rapid pace. More and more people sense that the old methods of self-discovery no longer bring the relief they once did, but instead lead them back in circles. One of the most common of these methods is searching for answers in past lives. In this article, I share information received from my I Am Presence about why looking back is not always the way forward.

The Old Way: Searching for the Cause in the Past

In searching for themselves, people often seek to connect with past aspects of themselves to find answers to questions such as where a particular fear comes from, why a certain pattern keeps repeating, or what lies at the root of a particular trauma. I, too, followed this path until I established a direct connection with my I Am Presence and received a different perspective on the subject from expanded consciousness.

The logic seems convincing: if we understand why we have a fear—for example, of drowning or of being abandoned—it should disappear. The problem is that when we go back to a past life, we don’t just observe the trauma—we relive it. And that can lower our current vibration and reconnect us to pain we’ve already outgrown.

Information about past lives is stored in the soul’s astral and mental bodies, in its memory. These levels remember duality: good and evil, victim and perpetrator. That is why returning there is not always a neutral experience.

The I Am Presence Does Not Work with the Past

Your I Am Presence exists beyond time and space. For it, the past holds no weight. It sees only your wholeness and light in the present moment.

Here is an excerpt from the message we received:

“The most important thing is not to go back, regardless of the methods you use. At a moment in the past, you were at a different stage of growth and at a much lower energetic vibration. If you begin to live in the past, it will hinder your present growth. The I Am Presence does not work by looking back. Your purpose on the path of growth is connected with this life. Furthermore, information from past lives comes from the lower levels of the soul, not from your whole being. This may anchor you even more deeply in a place you have already left.”

The Mind Trap

The ego loves stories. The search for past lives sometimes turns into a subtle escape from the real tasks of the present day. The mind is a brilliant architect of labyrinths; it loves certainty, and for it, certainty means that everything must be explained, labelled, and classified.

How can we tell when healthy curiosity turns into a trap?

  • Procrastination through analysis. You know exactly why you’re afraid of commitment—because of a pattern from your childhood or a past life—but you keep sabotaging your relationships. Your mind tells you, “I’m working on it because I’m analysing it,” but in reality, nothing changes.

  • Shifting Responsibility. When the mind says, “I am this way because I was betrayed in a past life,” it shifts the responsibility onto another version of you, in another time, and robs you of the power to act now.

  • A Cyclical Return to the Question “Why?” If you’ve been dwelling on the same problem for years, the very question “Why?” keeps you trapped in the low vibration of the problem, because the cause and the problem vibrate at the same frequency.

  • The Allure of Drama. The mind loves complex and dramatic stories because they feed the sense of uniqueness rather than helping to clear the energy.

Here’s a simple test: if searching for the cause brings immediate relief and release, then it has been helpful. If it brings more questions, heaviness, and analysis, that is the trap of the mind.

Time as a Sphere: Everything Happens NOW

From the spiritual perspective presented in the information received, time is not a linear sequence of past, present, and future, but rather a sphere in which everything happens simultaneously.

Imagine that your existence does not unfold as a sequence in which the person you are now was someone else 300 or 3,000 years ago. Your Soul—your entire being—is like the sun, and your individual lives are its rays. All of these rays exist in the present moment. Your 15th-century European self, your Ancient Egyptian self, and your present self are all experiencing their own reality right now, but on different frequency bands.

Since all these lives are connected through the common “center” of the Soul, they influence one another in real time. This is the concept we refer to here as “quantum healing”: when you make a firm decision in this lifetime—“I am letting go of the victim pattern and choosing my power”—you change the energy matrix of your entire Soul. This new, higher vibration radiates out to all your simultaneous aspects. In this way, you heal your past self without needing to know who that person is or what they are experiencing.

You don’t have to untangle the knot thread by thread, life by life. In this spiritual context, a “quantum leap” means changing your perspective and looking at things from above.

From “Why?” to “Am I ready to let it go now?”

You don’t need to know the history of the knot to cut it. That’s why the question isn’t “Where does this come from?” but “Am I ready to let it go now?” This question is important because it acts as an active command to the universe and is an expression of your free will.

When you stop asking, “Where does this come from?”, you close the archives of the past. When you say, “I release it NOW,” your I Am Presence—which exists beyond linear time—draws your energy away from the old trauma and reintegrates it into the present as pure life force.

A practical tip for when your mind starts to wander

As soon as you catch yourself analysing a problem yet again or getting lost once more in the maze of “Why is this happening to me? From which past life does it stem? Who cursed or betrayed me?”, stop and ask yourself just one question:

"Does this information raise my vibration RIGHT NOW?"

Your mind will have to honestly admit that dwelling on the pain actually makes you feel bad right now. This question alone is enough to interrupt the automatic flow of thoughts.

Replace “Why?” with “What?”: “What do I choose to do about this situation right now? What vibration do I choose to radiate from this point forward?”

In Summary

There is nothing superfluous in the universe. Everyone follows their own path, and their decisions are a matter of personal choice and free will. If you feel that searching for reasons in the past no longer brings you relief but only raises new questions, this may be a sign that the time has come for a new paradigm: not regression, but integration in the here and now.

Your power has never been in the past. It is here, in the present moment, and reveals itself in your readiness to say, “I’m letting it go NOW.”
